Market Orders
A market order is the simplest way to express your belief in a Zeitgeist prediction narrative. It allows you to buy or sell YES/NO shares instantly at the best currently available price.
How Market Orders Work:
When you place a market order, you're essentially saying, "I want to buy/sell X number of shares right now, regardless of the exact price." The Zeitgeist platform will automatically match your order with the best available offers from liquidity providers in the DLMM.
Step-by-Step Guide (Market Order):
Navigate to the Narrative Details Page: Find the narrative you're interested in.
Choose Your Belief: Decide whether you believe the outcome will be YES or NO.
Select "Buy YES" or "Buy NO":
Click "Buy YES" if you believe the outcome will be YES.
Click "Buy NO" if you believe the outcome will be NO.
Enter the Number of Shares: Specify how many shares you want to buy.
Review the Estimated Cost/Proceeds: The interface will show an estimate. The final price might be slightly different due to slippage (explained on a separate page).
Confirm Your Belief: Click the "Buy YES" or "Buy NO" button to confirm.
Wallet Approval: Approve the transaction in your Solana wallet.
Order Execution: Zeitgeist executes your order, and the shares are added to your portfolio.

Advantages of Market Orders:
Speed: Market orders are typically executed very quickly.
Simplicity: They are easy to understand and use.
Guaranteed Execution: Your order will almost always be filled (unless there's zero liquidity, which is rare).
Disadvantages of Market Orders:
Price Uncertainty: You don't know the exact price you'll get until the order is executed. This is due to slippage.
Potential for Slippage: In fast-moving markets or markets with low liquidity, the execution price might be significantly different from the estimated price.
When to Use Market Orders:
Market orders are best suited for situations where:
You want to express your belief immediately.
You're not overly concerned about getting the absolute best price.
The market is relatively liquid.
